Every day has 3 goals: your daily core (the same every day), Task 2 and Task 3, each with a short why. Open a day to read all three.
Daily core Same every day
Pitch, follow up or find one client lead
Why: Small, well-aimed client steps add up to real relationships, and a clear record means you always know who to follow up with and when.
Task 2
Write your freelance offer in one sentence
Finish this sentence: I help [who] with [what] so they can [result]. Write three versions and keep the one a busy stranger would get in five seconds.
Why: That one sentence shapes your prices, your pitch and every message you send.
Task 3
List every project you've ever done with this skill
Why: Paid, unpaid, school or favors all count. It's proof you already have, even if it never felt official.
Daily core Same every day
Pitch, follow up or find one client lead
Why: Small, well-aimed client steps add up to real relationships, and a clear record means you always know who to follow up with and when.
Task 2
Describe your dream client
Write half a page about the client you'd love to work with: their field, size, biggest headache, how they look for help and what they can reasonably pay. Then write one line about the kind of client you never want again.
Why: Knowing who you serve helps you write messages for the right people.
Task 3
List 20 people who know your work
List people who have seen your work or know your skills: friends, past coworkers, classmates, neighbors and past clients. Fewer than 20 come to mind? List everyone you can and note where you could meet more.
Why: Starting with people who already know you gives your first outreach a warm place to begin.
Daily core Same every day
Pitch, follow up or find one client lead
Why: Small, well-aimed client steps add up to real relationships, and a clear record means you always know who to follow up with and when.
Task 2
Count the hours you can truly sell
Look at your real week and write how many hours you can give client work right now, and when. Mark your best focus hours and save them for paid work, not email.
Why: Promising only the hours you really have keeps your workload realistic from the start.
Task 3
Make a client tracker with a column for every step
In a free spreadsheet or notebook, make columns for name, contact, what they need, status, last contact date and next step. Add anyone you've already talked to about work.
Why: One sheet with each lead, their status, the next step and a date means nothing slips through the cracks.
Daily core Same every day
Pitch, follow up or find one client lead
Why: Small, well-aimed client steps add up to real relationships, and a clear record means you always know who to follow up with and when.
Task 2
Write down your three signature services
List everything you could sell, then narrow it to three services you do well, enjoy and people will pay for. For each one, write what the client walks away with and roughly how many hours it takes you.
Why: A short menu is easier to explain, price and deliver well than a long one.
Task 3
Ask a friend which service they'd hire you for
Read your three services to a friend and ask which one they'd hire you for and why. No one available to help? Ask which one you could explain in one sentence without notes.
Why: An outside vote shows you which offer already sounds the clearest to other people.
Daily core Same every day
Pitch, follow up or find one client lead
Why: Small, well-aimed client steps add up to real relationships, and a clear record means you always know who to follow up with and when.
Task 2
Start a simple money tracker for your business
Make a spreadsheet with three tabs: money in, business costs and money set aside for taxes and savings. Add anything you've earned or spent on this work so far this year.
Why: Tracking from the start makes pricing, taxes and going full time far less scary.
Task 3
List your money questions for a professional
Why: Tax and business rules differ everywhere, so a written list makes one conversation with a pro count.
Daily core Same every day
Pitch, follow up or find one client lead
Why: Small, well-aimed client steps add up to real relationships, and a clear record means you always know who to follow up with and when.
Task 2
Set your work hours and workspace
Choose where you'll do client work and the hours you're open. Write an availability line you can paste into emails, like "I reply within one business day, Monday to Friday."
Why: Clear hours teach clients how to work with you before any problem starts.
Task 3
Turn off work notifications outside your hours
Why: Protecting your evenings now builds the habit before clients test it.
Daily core Same every day
Pitch, follow up or find one client lead
Why: Small, well-aimed client steps add up to real relationships, and a clear record means you always know who to follow up with and when.
Task 2
Circle your strongest line from the week
Light day. Reread your offer sentence, dream client and services. Circle the line you're proudest of and rewrite the one that still feels fuzzy.
Why: A quick review turns a busy week of notes into a clear starting point.
Task 3
Write yourself a thank you for week one
Why: You started a business this week, and that deserves a kind word before you keep going.

How Freelance 100 works
What you do each day
3 goals a day. Your daily core, Pitch, follow up or find one client lead, is the same every day. The other two are new each day: Task 2 builds the habit and Task 3 adds a different angle. Each one comes with a short why.
Time and effort
Most days fit around a normal day, all 3 goals together. Some days are lighter, and nothing needs to happen at a set time.
Difficulty and pace
Challenging. A real daily commitment from the first week, building to bigger sessions. Milestone badges at 10, 25, 50 and all 100 fully completed days mark how far you came.
Easier alternatives and rest days
Most goals have an easier alternative. “Choose an easier alternative” puts it in its place, and it counts the same as the original goal: the same square, streak and rewards. A rest day protects the streak on days life happens.
Pausing or switching
With another challenge going, you can pause this one any time. Resume later and you pick up on the same day you left. Remove it instead and your history stays: ticks, notes and photos. You always keep at least one challenge going. Up to 3 packs can be active at once, your main challenge included. Active and scheduled packs count; paused, finished and not started ones don't. You can own as many packs as you like and start them later.
What you own
Unlock Freelance 100 on its own ($9.99 or a free credit) and it's yours forever, to replay any time. All Access opens every pack while you're subscribed. Credits never expire, so use them when you're ready.
Pack guide
When a client or reply is not available
Use an accurately labeled sample, draft or role-play. Do not invent a customer, review, revenue figure or completed commission. A prepared or appropriately sent message counts; a response, purchase or referral is not required. Keep copyrighted and confidential material out of public samples unless you have permission.
Portfolio and profile prerequisites
Select real work or create a labeled practice sample before writing a case study; then assemble a portfolio and check the link before sending it. A headshot is optional for a personal profile or site and is not a universal resume requirement. Use a simple photo you have permission to use only where useful and customary; no paid shoot is required.
When progress stalls
At Days 25, 50 and 75, record outputs and responses separately. Identify the earliest weak step: finding the right audience, getting attention, demonstrating relevance, making a clear invitation or delivering useful work. Choose one change, complete one real test and set a review date. Switch channel or request targeted feedback when repeating the same approach is not helping; more volume alone is not the goal. Keep follow-up respectful and use a sample only when accurately labeled.
How to use task details
The task title names the action. Open its details for the method, examples and any relevant precautions; Why explains the purpose. Save the stated output or record the action you actually took. Paper and other suitable tools are valid alternatives. Do not mark a real-world result complete merely because a planning note was written. Writing tasks can be done in Journal, on paper or anywhere you like. Linking them to Journal is optional.
Kind selling
Selling here means helping the right clients decide, not pushing. Be honest about what you offer, what it costs and what you can't promise, and never invent clients, results or reviews. The reach is the win: a kind, well aimed message counts whether or not anyone replies. Keep your tracker current with who you contacted, what they said and the next date. Follow up a couple of times, then close the loop kindly. Before contacting people you don't know, check the cold outreach rules where you live, say who you are, make it easy to opt out and stop right away if anyone asks.
Earn 4 milestone badges
10, 25, 50 and all 100 fully completed days of Freelance 100: your first achievement, then bronze, silver and gold. Days finished late count too.
